Job summary

Virginia Peninsula Community College seeks a Full-Time Health Faculty member to educate and mentor students across multiple locations. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in health science or public health.
• 18 credits in a qualifying discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills appropriate for students, colleagues, staff, and administrator interactions.
• Willingness to adopt an organized plan of instruction and use methods to fairly measure student progress toward student learning outcomes.
• Must be able to work at all campus locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction, support, assessment, and mentorship to students.
• Teach in classrooms, distance learning, laboratories, and through conferences to develop student abilities.
• Contribute to the college’s mission and community involvement.
• Demonstrate proficiency with instructional technologies to enhance learning and student experience.
