Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a related discipline
• Prior undergraduate teaching experience is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage and inspire students in a diverse academic environment
• Ability to commute to Richmond, VA

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in health services based on course needs
• Develop and organize course syllabi, assignments, exams, and course content as needed
• Provide engaging and effective instruction in person or online as required
• Assess and evaluate student performance through grading of assignments, exams, and projects
• Hold office hours to meet with students and provide academic support
• Participate in BSHS meetings and maintain communication with faculty and staff
• Stay current with developments in the discipline and incorporate them into course materials and teaching methods
• Follow university policies and procedures in teaching, grading, and academic responsibilities
