Job summary

IQVIA's MCRA unit, part of IQVIA MedTech, seeks a Research Associate to support reimbursement and market access advisory work in a hybrid DC office. This role offers collaboration across reimbursement, evidence development, market access, regulatory, and clinical teams.

You will conduct policy research, evaluate payer environments, develop client-delivery materials, and contribute to strategies for sustainable reimbursement and adoption across medical technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health economics, public health, health policy, epidemiology, economics, life sciences, or related field.
• Strong research, analytical, quantitative, writing, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with evidence-generation concepts, including literature review and real-world evidence.
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on Medicare, Medicaid, and private-payer coverage, coding, and payment policies and amounts.
• Perform literature searches, evidence landscape reviews, and evidence-gap assessments.
• Support market opportunity assessments by evaluating clinical, economic, reimbursement, and stakeholder adoption drivers.
• Identify and assess datasets and real-world evidence sources for client research questions.
• Assist with health economics studies under guidance of a project lead.
• Prepare concise deliverables in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel summarizing methods, findings, and implications.
• Present research findings to internal teams and clients, incorporating feedback accurately.
