Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Academic Affiliations, seeks a Supervisory Health System Specialist to provide expert analytical and information system support to VHA leaders at all levels, including design and management of national data tools, applications, and reporting solutions.

The incumbent oversees the development and implementation of innovative data systems and products, evaluates and enhances information delivery, and serves as a resource and advisor on VHA data,

Qualifications

• Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study in hospital or public health administration or related fields with coursework in health care administration.
• GS-14 requires one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level.
• Experience includes project planning, resource and schedule coordination, and delivery of project outcomes.
• Knowledge of data-management principles: data modeling, data dictionaries, warehousing, mining, disposal, standardization.
• Preferred experience includes Telerik UI for ASP.Net Core and TOAD for SQL Data Modeling.
