Health Data Analytics Consultant

Blu Omega is seeking a Health Data Analytics Consultant to support the CMS program area. This role is responsible for performing Medicare claims analysis, coding with SQL and Python, and supporting policy and payment model initiatives within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Support the CMS mission to improve health and human services programs through advanced data analytics and policy support.

Clearance / Suitability: Public Trust eligibility required

Responsibilities

• Conduct Medicare claims analysis to support payment model development and evaluation
• Develop and verify analysis parameters, prepare detailed documentation, and write efficient, high-quality code using SQL and Python
• Collaborate with team members to interpret data findings and support the design of healthcare payment models

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in health analytics, research, consulting, or a similar environment
• Master’s degree or higher in Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Public Policy, or a related field
• Proficiency with SQL and Python for data analysis
• Experience working with healthcare claims and enrollment data within large data warehouse environments
• Strong knowledge of healthcare data structures, patient attribution concepts, and claims data
• Ability to develop analysis parameters, document processes, and produce high-quality code
• Excellent communication skills for conveying complex analyses clearly

Compensation

Salary Range: $92,000.00 - $120,000.00
Final compensation based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
