Job summary

Mexican American Opportunity Foundation seeks a Health Coordinator for the Early Head Start-CCP program in Los Angeles County. You will plan, coordinate and oversee health services, nutrition and oral health, and develop MOUs with community partners.

Requires a BS in public health or related field (LVN acceptable) and at least 3 years of health field experience; Spanish speaking preferred. This exempt, full-time role offers comprehensive MAOF benefits and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in public health, child health, maternal health, Health Science, Social Work, or related field. A licensed Vocational Nurse with experience in Head Start is acceptable.
• Three years of experience in the Health Field or Coordinator in Head Start.
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinates and oversee health services of the MAOF Early Head Start Program.
• Develop memoranda of understanding with community organizations providing health, nutrition, and oral health services.
• Produce reports and conduct data analysis to improve health and nutrition services.
