Job summary

NAECTE's Early Head Start Health Coordinator position in Los Angeles supports the Health/Wellness & Disabilities Manager, ensuring compliance with Head Start standards. The role involves health data entry in ChildPlus, reviewing forms, and coordinating health, nutrition, and safety activities for the EHS program.

You will collaborate with medical providers and ECE staff, help monitor CACFP, assist with budgets, trainings, and parent engagement, and work flexible hours to meet family needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in Nutritional Science required.
• Nutrition and Dietetics Technician Registered (NDTR) with CNDT required.
• Associate degree in health or nursing education or allied fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate efforts with medical providers and ECEs to obtain health and educational services.
• Design and implement culturally appropriate nutrition services and meet dietary needs of children.
• Assist in development and monitoring of CACFP and Head Start budgets for Health and Nutrition.

Education

Bachelors of Science in Nutritional Science
