Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Computational Modeler to design, develop, and maintain advanced computational models focused on resource allocation, infectious disease dynamics, outbreak forecasting, and response planning. You will translate complex epidemiological data into actionable insights by building robust models, integrating data sources, and developing reliable, scalable simulation workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in computational modeling and simulation, including outbreaks or response planning.
• Experience with advanced epidemiological models (compartmental, discrete-event).
• Proficiency in Python, R, MATLAB, or Julia.
• Experience building reliable simulation workflows with testing, logging, and monitoring.
• Knowledge of statistics, calibration, data assimilation, and model validation.
• Ability to write clean, well-documented code and provide technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced models for resource allocation and outbreak forecasting.
• Translate epidemiological data into actionable insights for decision-makers.
