HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL, is seeking a Nursing Support professional to assist with patient care under RN supervision. The role supports patient activities, documentation, and interdepartmental communication in a fast-paced unit.
Qualified candidates typically hold a High School Diploma or GED and have BLS certification; CNA or PCT certification is preferred. The schedule is 36 hours per week, days 7a–7p, with competitive benefits offered by HSHS.
Pay Range: $17.00 - $23.80 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
Performs patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. Provides care for patients according to the standards of care. Facilitates patient and clerical activities on a unit, documentation, communication of information necessary for patient care.

High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
1 year of experience in acute care setting is preferred.
BLS (Basic Life Support) is required within 30 days upon hire. CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) or PCT (Patient Care Technician) certification in state of practice is preferred.
