Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center is seeking a Chief Operations Officer to lead TVHC’s clinical operations across sites, optimize patient access and staffing, and transform care delivery in a shifting reimbursement landscape.

Reporting to the CEO, the COO will partner with senior leaders to implement data-driven improvements, uphold high patient and provider experience, and ensure sustainable financial performance while maintaining a focus on vulnerable communities served by TVHC.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, business administration, or related field preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience, multi-site ambulatory or clinical operations.
• Experience in Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or safety-net ambulatory care environments preferred.
• Strong track record in operational transformation, process improvement, and change leadership.
• Experience with evolving reimbursement models, value-based care, and performance management.

Responsabilités

• Provide executive leadership for TVHC’s clinical operations and site-level departments.
• Set and monitor targets for patient access, visits, staffing efficiency, and patient flow.
• Use data to identify performance gaps and drive improvements in access, productivity, and quality.
• Lead care delivery transformation and implement innovative scheduling, staffing, and workflows.
• Partner with the CEO, CMO, CFO and other leaders to ensure financial sustainability and strategic alignment.
• Establish policies, processes, and operating cadences across locations.
• Engage clinics and staff to address operational barriers and ensure continuity of care.
