Job summary

Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center (TVHC) is seeking an accomplished COO to lead and continually elevate clinical operations across its network of clinics. You will drive patient access, scheduling, staffing, and workflows, partnering with executive leaders to align operational excellence with TVHC’s mission.

You will lead transformative care delivery initiatives, optimize payer mix and reimbursement strategies, and embed AI-enabled technologies to reduce administrative burden while preserving care

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 10+ years of progressive healthcare operations leadership at multi-site ambulatory or clinical operations.
• Experience in Federally Qualified Health Center or safety-net environments preferred.
• Demonstrated success in transforming care delivery models and operational workflows.
• Strong analytics, budgeting, and governance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for TVHC’s clinical operations and departments across sites.
• Set targets for patient access, visits, staffing, and patient flow; monitor performance.
• Develop dashboards and reports with Data and Clinical Quality Operations teams.
• Plan staffing models, workflows, and implementation plans for new programs.
• Standardize policies, procedures, and operating practices across locations.
• Refine staffing and workforce models based on patient volume and complexity.
• Maintain strong presence in clinics; address barriers in real time.
• Create operating cadence with site reviews, meetings, and action plans.
• Ensure readiness for emergencies, outages, and regulatory reviews.
• Lead care delivery transformation and adoption of new tech and AI-enabled tools.
• Collaborate with CMO and CFO to ensure sustainable care models.
• Translate strategy into practical, measurable operational results.
