Job summary

St. Louis County Government is seeking a leadership role to oversee day-to-day clinical operations in the Department of Public Health, working closely with the Chief Medical Officer to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

The role directs the Site Management team, aligns staffing, workflows, and compliance with HRSA and state/federal regulations, and drives performance through dashboards and KPI monitoring.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited registered nursing education program (BSN required).
• Must hold an active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse license verifiable through the Missouri Board of Professional Registry or the National Nursys Registry.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct County clinic operations, activities and recommend changes in, or better utilization of, facilities, services, and staff to ensure patient-centered delivery of care.
• Coordinate daily operations, such as clinic workflows, staffing schedules, and assist in organizing, scheduling and directing the work efforts of the facilities.
• Ensure adherence to Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) guidelines, federal healthcare laws, and state standards.
• Develop policies and procedures affecting the quality of patient care and services.
• Prepare and submit budget, optimize revenue cycle management, records, reports, and statistical data. Such as Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
• Handle recruitment, training supervision, and performance evaluations of medical and administrative personnel.
