Job summary

One to One Health in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Health Center Manager to oversee daily clinical operations, staff scheduling, and HIPAA compliance, ensuring efficient, patient-centered service in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of medical office supervisory experience, a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), BLS certification, and licensure such as LPN/RN preferred. Travel between sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient throughput, wait times and satisfaction; implement improvement projects as necessary.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and serve as on-site resource to support patients, staff and providers.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders on staff reviews and disciplinary action.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for the day-to-day staff scheduling, operations, and supervision of the assigned clinic and all its employees. Ensure staff is working productively and professionally.
• Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of time sheets and approving prior to payroll deadlines.
• Responsible for ensuring patient needs are met. Monitors patient feedback and leads the process of resolving complaints and service.
• Monitor patient through‑put, wait times and satisfaction; implement/evaluate improvement projects as necessary.
• Responsible for the coordination of all clinical services including but not limited to patient access, scheduling, EMR management and supply management.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with HIPAA.
• Serve as on-site resource to support patients, staff and providers and train new team members.
• Ensure that office facilities and equipment are well maintained.
• Communicate effectively and immediately to management regarding site and staff issues, including escalating staff patient or facility issues.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders on staff reviews, feedback and disciplinary action.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

• Strong communication skills, including active listening and empathy.
• Proficient in basic technology (Microsoft products, etc).
• Ability or willingness to learn basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
