Job summary

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP is seeking Health Care Litigation Associates for its Pittsburgh office. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of litigation experience, including motions, depositions, complex discovery and trial prep, with preference for health care regulatory matters and HIPAA experience.

Ohio, Kentucky, or Pennsylvania bar admission is required; out-of-state candidates may sit for the bar exam. Competitive salary and benefits with bonus potential up to $40,000+.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of litigation experience, including motions, taking depositions, handling complex discovery and ESI, and preparing cases for trial.
• Experience with health care regulatory matters, HIPAA, audits and investigations, payor disputes, and ERISA litigation preferred.
• License to practice in Ohio, Kentucky, or Pennsylvania; out-of-state candidates may sit for the Ohio, Kentucky, or Pennsylvania bar exam.
• Strong academic background with excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.

• Handle all aspects of complex health care litigation and compliance for regional and national clients.
• Interact with clients and manage case strategy throughout the lifecycle of matters.

Dinsmore has an immediate opportunity available for Health Care Litigation Associates in the Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Dayton, OH; Lexington, KY; Louisville, KY; and Pittsburgh, PA offices. The ideal candidate will have two to five years of litigation experience, including experience preparing and arguing motions, taking depositions, handling complex discovery and ESI, and preparing cases for trial. Experience with health care regulatory matters, HIPAA, state and federal agency audits and investigations, payor disputes, administrative proceedings, and/or ERISA litigation is preferred. Qualified candidates can look forward to a practice that will include significant client contact and handling all aspects of complex health care litigation and compliance for regional and national clients of all sizes.

A license to practice in Ohio, Kentucky, or Pennsylvania is required. Out of state candidates who are willing to sit for the Ohio, Kentucky, or Pennsylvania bar exam, or eligible for admission in Ohio, Kentucky, or Pennsylvania, will be considered. All candidates should have a strong academic background, and possess excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
