Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Health Care Director to lead the nursing team and oversee clinical services, including medication management, service planning, and supervision of nursing staff.

You will ensure residents receive excellent direct care, coordinate with families, and maintain high standards of infection control and quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN nursing license in the state.
• Previous supervisory experience including management, coaching and health care services.
• Ability to read, speak, and write English clearly.
• Prefer prior experience supervising direct care staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor medication management and resident health needs.
• Perform resident assessments and care plan oversight.
• Provide leadership and guidance on health issues to the nursing team.
• Offer onsite medical care and coordinate with physicians.

We are looking for an outstanding individual to lead the nursing team as a Health Care Director. You will spearhead clinical services such as resident medication management, service planning and supervising the nursing staff. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by ensuring they receive excellent direct care.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring medication management
• Performing resident assessments
• Providing leadership and guidance on health issues
• Providing onsite medical care
• Communicating changing medical needs to the team and family members
• Champions high quality and infection control
• Verifies physician orders
• Communicates move-in/move-out information
• Supervises the ordering, delivery, transcription and documentation of medication, treatments and orders under their authority.
