Job summary

Benecon in Lititz, PA, seeks a capable VERIS Account Manager assistant to support ongoing service and broker relations for VERIS groups. You will act as the main contact between Benecon staff, brokers, and groups to address case activities.

Responsibilities include assisting renewals, gathering information for group renewals, coordinating plan changes to ASO carriers, and working with Finance to communicate claims and reporting. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in business or related field required.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with health and welfare benefits programs required.
• Experience with self-funded plans preferred.
• Pennsylvania resident insurance producer licenses to sell Accident & Health and Life & Fixed Annuities insurance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Veris Account Manager with service and support for VERIS groups and brokers.
• Serve as liaison between Benecon staff, brokers, and VERIS groups for all case activities.
• Assist with the renewal process and gather information for group renewals before delivering to Actuarial Services.
• Coordinate renewal processes with brokers for VERIS cases and follow up until requirements are received.
• Coordinate plan changes and implement existing groups transitioning to new ASO carriers.
• Coordinate with Finance to communicate payment of claims, stop loss claims, and VERIS reporting.
• Maintain positive relationships with broker partners, ASO carriers, and VERIS groups.
• Explain basic compliance and actuarial concepts to clients when needed.
