Job summary

Develop Health is seeking a Clinical Product & Operations Lead Pharmacist to anchor our customer experience on complex prior authorizations and benefit verifications. You will own end-to-end cases and help design operational workflows that scale with our growth.

As an on-site role in Menlo Park three days a week, you’ll collaborate with product, engineering, and operations, document SOPs, train pharmacists and technicians, and drive improvements to AI-assisted decisioning to speed medication

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist (PharmD) with hands-on prior authorization and benefit verification experience.
• 3–5+ years in pharmacy operations, specialty pharmacy, or a payer/PBM environment.
• Strong working knowledge of PA workflows, payer criteria, formularies, and PBM structures.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational playbook for how complex PA and BV cases get handled, internally and for customers.
• Build and track the metrics that show impact (resolution time, approval rates, automation).
• Work with product and engineering to improve AI-driven determinations and agented workflows.
• Design and scale training for pharmacists and technicians.
• Manage customer communication across email, calls, and Slack.
