Description

The Health and Society program at The University of Texas at Austin seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/non‑tenure track positions to teach undergraduate courses. Positions are not available every semester and are contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding. Appointments are made on a semester‑by‑semester basis, though sometimes a year‑long or years‑long appointment can be made. Positions are renewable annually or multi‑annually, contingent upon funding, position and performance. Salary is dependent upon position and qualifications.

Qualifications

A Ph.D. in a social science or humanities discipline that focused on a health‑related topic is preferred. Previous college‑level teaching experience is required.
