Job summary

New Era Cap, LLC, headquartered in Buffalo, NY, seeks an Associate Artist for Graphic Operations (Headwear Key Account). This full-time role supports template delivery and artwork execution under leadership direction, applying licensed logo guidelines to production-ready assets.

The position emphasizes creative problem solving (not design creation) in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to contribute to product reporting, calendars, and BOM deliverables for headwear initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Technical Design, or related field preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel; PLM experience a plus.
• Portfolio required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating sales assets within time and action calendar windows in collaboration with Product Development, Sourcing, and Product Line Management.
• Create and submit designs for internal and external approvals and implement changes per league/team guidelines.
• Replicate artwork across leagues/teams with high speed and accuracy.
• Review prototype samples against tech packs for production accuracy.
• Learn and use multiple New Era project tracking and product creation systems.
• Meet or exceed timelines associated with merchandising and go-to-market calendars.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and other departments to ensure product accuracy for consumers.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive matters.
• Other duties as assigned.
