Job summary

AVK Industrial Products, a Precision Castparts Company, seeks a Heading Machine Operator Level 2 in Valencia, CA. Qualifications

• Reads and writes English.
• Intermediate print reading & inspection processes.
• Familiar with header tooling & equipment (Progressive & Non-Progressive).
• Knowledge of wire material & coatings.
• Basic trouble shooting.

Responsibilities

• Work safely under functional safety guidelines (PPE).
• Adhere to quality processes including in-process inspection.
• Interpret work orders and blueprints for specs and tooling instructions.
• Set up machines for runs and handle tooling and feeding loads.
• Set cutting speeds and feed rates; start and monitor the machine.
• Inspect first run and sample parts for conformance.
• Lift up to 35 lbs and work in a team environment.
