Jobot is seeking an experienced Header Machinist in Orange County to set up and operate cold heading machines on day or evening shifts. You will troubleshoot equipment, follow engineering drawings, and ensure high-quality components are produced efficiently.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience with cold heading, precision measurement tools, and the ability to read blueprints. Company-provided benefits include health coverage, 401(k), and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Set up, adjust, troubleshoot, and operate cold heading machines to meet production requirements.
• Manufacture quality parts in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Monitor production processes and perform in-process inspections to ensure product quality.
• Gather and review production documentation, tooling drawings, schedules, and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Set up, troubleshoot, and operate cold heading equipment on first and second shifts.
• Produce precision components per drawings and specs.
• Perform in-process inspections and document results.
• Identify equipment issues and report tooling concerns.
• Maintain accuracy and productivity while ensuring quality standards.
