Job summary

Hotwire-Communications seeks a Headend Engineer to lead the construction, operation, maintenance, and support of headend systems. You will install, wire, configure, and monitor equipment to ensure IPTV and channel quality across multiple facilities.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree or equivalent, with at least 3 years in telecom/RF. You will bring strong headend and networking knowledge and collaborate with the NOC and engineering teams for ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in Engineering/Telecom/RF.
• Minimum 3 years in telecom/RF or satellite experience.
• Strong head-end knowledge and computer skills.
• Understanding IPTV, IP multicast, and video codecs.

Responsibilities

• Lead headend construction, operation, maintenance and support.
• Install, wire, label and configure equipment.
• Monitor IPTV services and channel quality.
• Coordinate with NOC and other engineering teams for maintenance.
