Albright College, a vibrant and growing institution, is seeking a dynamic full-time head coach to lead the Women’s Basketball program.

The Women’s Basketball coach will be responsible for all aspects of the program, including the day-to-day operations. This encompasses on-court coaching; fundraising; recruiting both on and off campus; managing Front Rush; film breakdown and scouting report preparation; player skill development; overseeing academic progress; managing social media; and organizing summer camps and clinics. Albright is an NCAA Division III member and part of the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) and the Commonwealth Conference.

Essential Job Functions:
  1. Lead the women’s basketball program with on-court coaching.
  2. Recruit prospective student-athletes and evaluate talent.
  3. Coordinate recruiting communications and campus visits.
  4. Support student-athlete academic sessions to promote retention.
  5. Upload, analyze game film, and prepare scouting reports (video and text).
  6. Organize program fundraising activities.
  7. Manage team budget.
  8. Maintain and update team social media pages.
  9. Encourage participation in all athletic events and promote college basketball within the community.
  10. Engage with alumni and friends of Albright basketball, working closely with Development and Alumni Relations.
  11. Collaborate with campus departments like Development, Admissions, and College Relations to promote basketball events.
  12. Hire, supervise, and develop assistant coaches.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Prerequisites:
  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills; familiarity with social media management.
  • Skills: Playing and/or coaching basketball experience; proficiency with game film and recruiting databases preferred.
  • Employment Experience: Coaching experience at high school or college level.
  • Education: College degree or equivalent required.
  • Licenses: Valid driver’s license and child clearances required.
