Job summary

The Head Coach of any sport supports and advances the mission of FCS by planning, organizing, and directing the Varsity program for your assigned team, as well as overseeing the Junior Varsity and Middle School programs and coaches, with a Christian worldview and a high level of sport expertise. Reports to the Director of Athletic Ministries.

Head Coach Responsibilities include maintaining professional attire, resolving conflicts biblically, coordinating with the Athletic Ministries Department,

Qualifications

• Committed Christian with a close personal walk with the Lord.
• Regular in attendance at an evangelical, Protestant church.
• Strong commitment to Christian education.
• CPR/AED certified or willing to complete certification shortly after hire.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct the Varsity program for your assigned team.
• Oversee Junior Varsity and Middle School programs and coaches.
• Maintain professional appearance during games and practices.
• Organize off-season and preseason workouts and/or summer camps with the Director of Athletic Ministries.
• Submit rosters and communicate scores as required.
