Fredericksburg Christian School seeks a Head Coach to lead the varsity program with a Christian worldview. You will direct the varsity team while overseeing JV and middle school programs and coaches, reporting to the Director of Athletic Ministries.

Qualificações

• Committed Christian with a close personal walk with the Lord.
• Regular in attendance at an evangelical church.
• Commitment to Biblical lifestyle, not promoting premarital, extramarital, transgender, or homosexual behavior.
• If married, a solid commitment based on Mark 10:9.
• Strong commitment to Christian education.
• Previous head coaching experience at the high school or club level preferred.
• Playing experience required (if assistant coach, this is preferred).
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Demonstrates professionalism and contributes to a positive environment.
• Working knowledge about athletic program regulations.
• Skillfully manage individual, group, and organizational interactions.
• Averts problem situations and intervenes to resolve conflicts.
• Exercises self-control and perseverance when dealing with students.
• Must be CPR/AED certified or willing to complete certification shortly after hire.
• Teachable, servant spirit.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, and direct the varsity program for your assigned team.
• Oversee JV and middle school programs and coaches.
• Maintain professional appearance during games and practices.
• Attend All Coaches meetings and end-of-year awards.
• Keep inventory of uniforms and equipment.
• Organize off-season and preseason workouts/camps with director approval.
• Communicate coaching expectations to all assistants.
