Job summary

Pocatello/Chubbuck School District No. 25 at Franklin Middle School is seeking an athletic coach to develop student athletes and uphold district sportsmanship values.

The candidate must hold Idaho Teacher Certification or NFHS/ASEP certification and have prior experience as a player and/or coach. You will report to the Athletic Director and Principal and lead program planning, safety, budgeting, scheduling, and staff coordination.

Qualifications

• Idaho Teacher Certification or NFHS/ASEP certified.
• Previous experience as a player and/or coach.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with student-athletes and staff.
• Promote the athletic program and coordinate with staff and booster clubs.
• Develop a competitive program focused on philosophy, discipline and teamwork.
• Supervise athletes, manage injuries with trainers, and adhere to policies.
• Plan and oversee budgeting, scheduling, equipment, and transportation.

Skills
