About The Role

Provides extraordinary customer care to internal and external customers. Oversees daily teller operations. In the absence of the Branch Manager and/or Branch Supervisor, directs other branch personnel.

What You Will Do
  1. Supervise and schedule teller staff, ensuring adequate lobby and drive-up coverage.
  2. Provide ongoing product training; enhance teller cross-selling and follow-up techniques.
  3. Meet and exceed sales and referral goals annually.
  4. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, especially BSA and cash handling.
  5. Manage teller sales efforts and refer potential clients to appropriate channels.
  6. Maintain branch cash levels and order cash as needed.
  7. Balance and control personal cash drawer; reconcile branch ATM daily.
  8. Conduct monthly cash counts and monitor branch video surveillance.
  9. Oversee ATM proof and control, if applicable.
  10. Process credit and debit advises from correspondent banks.
  11. Manage branch Money Order and Teller Check inventory.
  12. Serve as Branch Supervisor if designated.
  13. Participate in outbound calling and promote digital banking channels.
  14. Collaborate with Branch Manager to complete end-of-day tasks.
  15. Ensure compliance with banking regulations, employment laws, and organizational policies.
  16. Maintain compliance files and ensure staff meet disclosure and compliance requirements.
What We Expect Of You
  1. Excellent sales, service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  2. Working knowledge of bank products/services or ability to learn quickly.
  3. Strong basic math skills.
  4. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  5. Computer literacy and familiarity with office equipment and ATMs/ITMs.
  6. Flexible schedule according to branch needs.
Your Qualifications
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. At least three years of teller experience and one year of supervisory experience.
  3. Daily contact with customers and staff; occasional contact with vendors.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

Remain stationary for extended periods, communicate effectively, travel as needed within the company footprint, operate necessary equipment, and handle money and transport coin bags/boxes.
