Job summary

Hebrew Educational Society in Brooklyn, NY seeks a Head Swim Team Coach to lead all levels of the USA program, design training plans, and monitor athlete development. • 1-3 years of club, high school or college swim coaching experience

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all levels of swimming in the USA program
• Design and oversee training plans for all training groups
• Oversee seasonal progression of athletes, set goals with swimmers and monitor phases of development with individual swimmers
• Prompt attendance at all scheduled workouts and swim meets to include weekends
• Assist in setting training schedules, practice groups, and athlete placement within groups
• Facilitate individual age appropriate goal setting process with all swimmers
• Performs related duties as required.
• Attend Daily Practice
• Attend USA Meets
• Supervise Swimmers in pool area at all times
• Give instruction and feedback on training and technique
• Communicate with parents and swimmers including meet information, results, feedback
• Greet, acknowledge and interact with members at all times
• Create an educational, safe and inviting experience for all participants
• Provide a safe, clean and organized pool area
