Child, Inc. in Pflugerville, Texas, is seeking a Teacher Aide to support a Head Start classroom for children aged 3–5. You will assist the lead teacher with engaging activities, help maintain a positive classroom environment, and supervise children throughout the day.

The position is 10 months, from August through June, offering collaboration with a dedicated team and opportunities in early childhood education, plus comprehensive benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

• CDA Credential required.
• Associate in Early Childhood Education or Child Development also acceptable.
• Three (3) months of experience working with children 3-5 years preferred.
• Must have CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Must possess valid driver's license and insured automobile.
• Must obtain a physical and TB test and pass background checks and E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in conducting classroom activities and plan meaningful learning experiences for Head Start children aged 3–5.
• Maintain an orderly classroom environment and supervise children at all times.
• Support in planning and record-keeping and other classroom duties as needed.
