Qualifications

Requires Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associates Degree can train a person enrolled in college with completion of AA within 18 months of employment.
Two (2) years of experience in an early childhood classroom preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensure staff, consultants, contractors, and volunteers protect the health and safety of children and provide supervision at all times.
Use prescribed curricula to support language, literacy, social-emotional development, math, science, and physical development.
Contribute to screenings, assessments, and ongoing evaluation of child progress.
Engage with parents in conferences and group activities to involve families in development.
Maintain classroom documentation, manage environmental safety, and report incidents per policy.
