Job summary

Bear River Head Start is seeking a Teacher Assistant for a full-time position with Monday–Friday fixed hours. The role pays $14.52 per hour and includes medical, vision, dental, life insurance and a SEP retirement after 13 months.

A GED or high school diploma and English proficiency are required, with Preschool CDA preferred within two years. The Teacher Assistant will support Head Start children in a developmentally appropriate environment and assist families to promote social competency and

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Preschool CDA preferred within two years of hire.
• Experience with children required.

• Assist in establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, learning environment.
• Promote health and nutrition through planned activities.
• Use the learning environment to encourage play, exploration and learning.
• Support physical and intellectual development with developmentally appropriate activities.
