Job summary

CCRES Educational and Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Head Start Preschool Teacher to provide educational experiences promoting growth in intellectual, social, emotional, and physical areas. Responsibilities include classroom education, curriculum implementation, student assessment, and related paperwork.

Location is Gordon Early Literacy Center, Coatesville, PA, with a schedule of 8am-4pm on a 190-day calendar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or closely related field (child development, psychology).
• Experience with classroom management and designing lesson plans including individualized goals for students is preferred.

SUMMARY:

The Head Start Preschool Teacher will provide educational experiences and activities, which will promote the intellectual, social, emotional and physical growth.

Responsibilities would include: all aspect of classroom education, curriculum implementation, student assessment, and related paperwork.

• Location: Gordon Early Literacy Center, 351 Kersey St, Coatesville, PA 19320
• Schedule: 8am - 4pm, 7.5 paid hours per day on full school day, 190 day school calendar year position

• 10 paid time off sick days - prorated based on date of hire
• Pay-rate: $37.09 per hour (w2 employment)

Requirements

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field (child development, psychology, etc).
• Experience with classroom management and designing of lesson plans including individualized goals for students - preferred.

CREDENTIALS

(Clearances & TB - paid by CCRES)

• PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
• PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
• PA Department of Human Services FBI
• TB Screening (current within 3 months)
• Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
