• Ensure compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards and applicable regulations.
• Promote a non-discriminatory environment that respects staff, children, and families.
• Model AVANCE's Core Values and stay informed about policies and procedures.
• Conduct classroom observations to assess social-emotional development and behavioral supports.
• Collaborate with managers and teaching staff to implement and monitor supports and behavior plans.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated services and referrals.
• Identify social-emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns and recommend interventions and follow-up.
• Support inclusive learning environments that foster emotional regulation and positive peer interactions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team and partnership meetings to support development.
• Provide modeling on social-emotional development and trauma-informed practices to staff.
• Assist teachers in analyzing behavior patterns and applying effective interventions.
• Provide families with information related to child development and wellness and develop support plans as needed.
• Coordinate with community providers to ensure coordinated services for children.
