Job summary

VOALA is seeking a Head Start Teacher Supervisor in Los Angeles to provide on-site oversight and ensure a stimulating learning environment for children aged 0–5. You will coordinate activities with teachers, family advocates and staff to support learning and family engagement.

Responsibilities include implementing curriculum, supervising paperwork, and mentoring staff while ensuring licensing and health standards are met in a Head Start setting.

Qualifications

• BA in Early Childhood Education/Child Development or closely related field.
• Site Supervisor Child Development Permit (or in progress).
• 24 CD units of Early Childhood Education/Child Development.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of the program curriculum and activities for enrolled children.
• Review end-of-month teacher paperwork for accuracy and timely submission.
• Oversee the curriculum plan to meet needs of children, families and staff.
• Mentor teaching and support staff on site.
