Champlain-Valley-Office-of-Economic-Opportunity seeks a Head Start Preschool Teacher to co-teach with another Early Childhood Educator in a collaborative, outcome-oriented team setting. You will create safe, healthy, and developmentally appropriate environments for 10 children aged 3–5, supporting school readiness and family engagement.

The role emphasizes serving families, fostering positive child outcomes, and promoting inclusive practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Vermont educator’s license with early childhood education endorsement preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in developmentally appropriate early childhood practice; child outcome assessment; curriculum planning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; bilingual abilities a plus; documentation and recordkeeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Coteach with another Early Childhood Educator in an outcomes-oriented, team environment.
• Provide safe, healthy, developmentally appropriate environments and experiences for 10 children aged 3–5.
• Support families and promote school readiness and family engagement.
