Job summary

CVOEO is seeking a Head Start Preschool Teacher to coteach with another Early Childhood Educator in a team-centered classroom. You will foster safe, developmentally appropriate experiences for 10 children aged 3–5 and promote family engagement as part of a federally funded Head Start program.

The position runs 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. A Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and Vermont teacher licensure are preferred, with salary during probation described below.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Vermont educator’s license with ECE endorsement preferred.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice and curriculum planning.

Responsibilities

• Coteach with another Early Childhood Educator.
• Provide safe, healthy, developmentally appropriate environments for 10 children aged 3–5.
• Support school readiness and family engagement through Head Start services.
