Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition, Inc. seeks qualified Preschool Teachers to support learning and development for preschool children in alignment with Head Start standards. You will collaborate with families and a diverse team to plan culturally-responsive curricula and conduct ongoing assessments.

Positions include Teacher A and B with compensation reflecting degree level, location, and experience. The role emphasizes safety, engagement, and cross-functional collaboration across education

Qualifications

• Preschool Teacher A requires an Associate’s degree in ECE or CD and 6 months of teaching preschool experience.
• Preschool Teacher B requires a Bachelor’s degree in ECE or CD or equivalent and 6 months of teaching preschool experience.
• Metro locations have higher pay as noted in job postings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for preschool-age children.
• Plan and implement curriculum aligned with Head Start standards and best practices.
• Individualize instruction based on observations, assessments, and family goals.
• Conduct developmental screenings and maintain child portfolios and documentation.
• Communicate regularly with families about child progress and classroom activities.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to classroom staff and volunteers.
