Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Minimum of one year DECAL experience working with birth to 5 years old.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents, children and staff.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and manage classroom activities according to Head Start standards.
• Maintain confidentiality about issues concerning staff, children and families.
• Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum based on observations and assessments.
• Organize and maintain learning centers, attend trainings, and recruit volunteers as needed.
• Support safety, health, and nutrition practices and ensure accurate attendance records.
