Job summary

Save the Children is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher to develop and implement individualized and group lesson plans promoting social-emotional, physical, and cognitive growth for preschool-aged children. Two teachers collaborate in each classroom to lead activities with support from aides and volunteers.

You will ensure day-to-day classroom operations, maintain documentation, and uphold confidentiality while building strong family partnerships and adhering to program standards.

Qualifications

• Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized and group lesson plans to promote social-emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
• Lead classroom activities with a co-Teacher and support from Program Aides and Volunteers.
• Ensure safety and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; maintain records and confidentiality.
