Job summary

Community Action Council in Richmond, KY is seeking an Entry-level Head Start Pathway Specialist to perform independent case management for families under Head Start Program Performance Standards. You will advise and assist families, coordinate services, and support healthy living and overall well-being.

Qualifications may include a Bachelor's or Associate degree with ECS experience, or a High School diploma with a credentialing plan within 18 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in family studies, child development, social work or related field plus one year of ECS case management experience.
• Associate degree in family studies, child development, social work or related field plus one year of ECS case management experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or related field within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Works independently on comprehensive case management activities for families in accordance with Head Start standards.
• Advises and assists individuals and families with a variety of issues and/or challenges.
• Creates, provides, and coordinates services and activities with families and communities to foster well‑being.
