Job summary

The Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency is seeking a Mentor Teacher to expand opportunities for our community's children. This role involves teaching and mentoring Head Start staff to enhance instructional practices and ensure high-quality early childhood education.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in a teaching or mentoring role in early childhood education.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience with Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies GOLD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily activities that align with Head Start Performance Standards.
• Collaborate with teachers to promote best practices in education.

Skills

Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards

Ability to work effectively with diverse families

Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field

Minimum of Associate degree in ECE
