Responsibilities

• Organize, operate and maintain Head Start center according to guidelines.
• Write and implement lesson plans following Creative Curriculum.
• Assess each child’s development and review progress with parents.
• Direct and support Teacher Assistants and Paraprofessionals in the classroom.
• Facilitate communication with parents and staff.
• Attend team and interagency meetings and trainings.
• Encourage parent and volunteer participation.
• Maintain a safe environment in program activities.
• Coordinate snack and meal service with staff.
