Job summary

Save the Children US is seeking a Family Service Coordinator to manage a caseload in Head Start and/or Early Head Start, partnering with families to build skills for self-sufficiency and school readiness. You will document family services and collaborate with team members and community partners to support families in achieving their goals.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in family/child development or related field, or current credential in social work or related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong knowledge of administration, budgeting, purchasing systems, and public relations.
• Experience building supportive relationships with young children and families.

Responsibilities

• Engage families as full partners, assess needs and strengths, and match program offerings to family interests.
• Ensure ERSEA requirements are met: eligibility, enrollment, and attendance goals.
• Develop Family Partnership Agreements and support goal development with families.
• Conduct regular home visits to support child development and family advocacy.
• Maintain accurate family records (electronic and hard copy) and participate in professional development.
