Job summary

Grand Portage Head Start is seeking a Head Start Family Partnership Coordinator to support Head Start families and uphold Family Partnership Agreements and ERSEA commitments. You will connect families with community resources and provide ongoing guidance to promote healthy living and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include delivering up-to-date information, monitoring progress, and collaborating with program staff to strengthen family engagement and outcomes in our Head Start services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Social Services and/or Human Services or in progress.
• Two year Associate of Arts Degree and enrolled in college courses to complete licensure, or in progress.
• Ability to effectively work with families, promoting healthy living skills, promoting opportunities and referrals that promote growth and support.

Education

Required: Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Services and/or Human Services or in progress. Ability to effectively work with families, promoting healthy living skills, promoting opportunities and referrals that promote growth and support. Willing and able to participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance job related skills.
