Job summary

The Y in Central Maryland seeks a Head Start Family Home Visitor to provide child development, family services, and health services to families with infants and toddlers and pregnant women under Head Start standards.

You will conduct home visits, developmental screenings and ongoing assessments, and develop family learning plans with parental involvement to support school readiness. A degree in child development or related field and experience with diverse communities are valued.

• Develop individual learning plans for each child with parental involvement.
• Help families identify concerns, priorities, and resources to support school readiness.
