Job summary

Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission Inc. (NKCAC) is hiring an EHS Infant/Toddler Teacher for our Covington, KY Head Start program.

This full-time role offers hourly pay ranging from $18.20 to $21.76 with a $1000 sign-on bonus and is positioned to support families and early childhood development in our service area. The ideal candidate will have an associate or BA in early childhood, experience in Head Start settings, and the ability to work with diverse families while maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate degree in a related field with at least 3 years of program experience, or a BA in Early Childhood Education.
• NKCAC Head Start cannot employ anyone with abuse or neglect findings.
• Ability to work with people of diverse and varying socio-economic backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with all components of the program.
• Maintain the confidentiality of staff and clients.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Attend staff meetings and training, as required.
• Follow established child abuse reporting requirements.
• Provide education and support services to families.
• Assures compliance with all program and grant requirements.
