Catholic Charities of Baltimore Head Start in Baltimore City is seeking a Head Start Education Coordinator responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing the education services area to support school readiness.

The role requires leading staff, aligning with Head Start standards, and traveling between Washburn and Baybrook locations; work schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:00pm. Join a mission‑driven team dedicated to holistic services and family empowerment.

Qualifications

• Education Coordinator I: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with birth to 5 coursework and 1 year preschool teaching experience.
• Education Coordinator II: Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with birth to 5 coursework and 1 year preschool teaching experience.
• Three years classroom experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Head Start Education coordinators must initiate CLASS reliability within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of Head Start goals and foster staff, family, and community involvement.
• Hire, train, supervise, evaluate, and motivate staff with regular feedback.
• Oversee curriculum implementation and classroom CLASS integration.
• Participate in annual program reviews, service area plans, and budgeting with teams.
