Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with internship or teaching experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field with one year of preschool teaching experience.
• Clear understanding of Head Start standards and Maryland credential requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students and ensure safety in the classroom.
• Implement Head Start curriculum and IEP/IFSP plans.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with ongoing assessment.
• Engage families through conferences and home visits.
• Maintain compliance with state and program policies.
