Job summary

Family & Children's Place in Louisville, KY is seeking an Education Director to lead the Head Start education component. This role supervises Education Coaches and Flex Teachers, ensuring program fidelity, staff growth, and compliance with Head Start standards.

You will oversee Creative Curriculum implementation, coordinate TSG assessments, analyze child outcomes to guide improvements, and collaborate with Disability/Mental Health teams to support diverse learners.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in early childhood education.
Experience in supervision or leadership in an early childhood setting preferred.
Experience with Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies GOLD preferred.
Knowledge of Head Start standards preferred.
Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead Education staff supervision, coaching, and evaluation, ensuring quality and growth.
Provide curriculum oversight and fidelity for Creative Curriculum across centers.
Monitor compliance with Head Start standards and facilitate data-driven instruction.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and partnerships to support school readiness.
