Job summary

Save the Children in Kentucky is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher to develop and implement individualized and group lessons for infants and toddlers, promoting social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth in alignment with program standards.

You will collaborate with a co-Teacher, work with families, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to high‑quality education in our Head Start program, reporting to the Center Director or Education & Inclusion Manager.

Qualifications

• Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with teams at all levels.
• Must participate in professional development and safety trainings.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized and group lesson plans for infants and toddlers.
• Guide and facilitate daily classroom activities and field trips.
• Maintain safe, developmentally appropriate learning environments.
• Plan conferences and home visits to inform parents of progress.
• Keep accurate records and protect confidentiality.
• Collaborate with Program Aides and Volunteers to support activities.
